My classroom is unique since it is the size of a regular classroom but is shared with 3 teachers, 1 or more assistants, and a Occupational Therapist with 2 other adult supports. Taller cabinets are key to hold all the stuff our students need without taking up too much floor space. Because the space is shared a cabinet with doors is the most practical to keep things where they belong and less distracting for students by minimizing the visual clutter of certain items. A large durable cabinet would house hands on materials used for specific activities and lessons.
