With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that interest them and will allow them to read at their own grade level. The best way to increase reading ability is to read, read read, and enjoy doing so. These books will help my students grow stronger in reading and give them the confidence they need to share what they have read or to read to a buddy, My students already have shown an interest in independent reading but need additional resources to enhance their reading ability. This project will help enrich their experiences in reading. Nevada State Content Standards for K-5 I.RL.1 will support my project.
