This is the first year LCA is offering STEM class and we are building our program from the ground up. One of the goals of the program is to introduce the students to coding. Coding robots not only allows the students instant feedback but brings programming to life. The Edison robot class set will provide the students with one of the newer base robotics units. The basic and simple design along with the ability to add to and accessorize the kits will give them the opportunity to learn three different ways to program and operate the robotic units. The class set has enough robotics sets to allow up to twelve small groups or individuals to have hands-on interaction. This kit will also allow for large group combined planning and tasking to take place as the small groups converge to complete larger challenges.
