• Positive Mindest

  Teaching my students about having a positive mindset and having empathy for others has made my heart feel good. With your help and getting us materials to make this happen is so wonderful. Your generous donations have allowed my students to practice these skills. They enjoy writing a card or giving a cute little animal or food item to their friends and teachers.

  It makes me feel good when they ask if could write a card for someone because they noticed that person was upset or feeling down.

• Miscellaneous Materials to Motivate

  This order would have greatly helped my students to complete their class work. They would have used all these materials to help them complete projects and do their work in school.

  My students get so excited any time there are boxes delivered to the classroom. They can not wait to help open them and see what we were able to get from our generous donors.

• Peppermint Power

  When the packages arrived my students were so excited! They are always looking for a snack. Especially Munster in the day classes. They were so excited to see that you donation helped get all of these items.

  The Takis, Pringles, Cheez Its, peppermints and airheads are my students favorite snack items. They will definitely work hard now so they can earn these items. They are really good motivators.

• Math Materials

  My students love using the individual white boards, but we always run out of working expo markers. So we have been using the markers.

  The sticky graph paper, regular graph paper, pencils, and pens helped my students to plot points right in their new notebooks you also helped fund.

  We are so thankful that you were so generous and donated to our project. It has really benefited my students and our class. They have fun using the materials and take an interest in their learning. We really cannot thank you enough.”

• Middle School Mindsets

  I talked with my students about being kind and knowing when someone may need a kind word. We discussed that you never know how your words can affect someone so you should always be nice.

  We wrote a few cards and turtle cards together so they understood what it was about.

  My students will come and ask me for a postcard or a turtle card when they know a friend or even a teacher is having a rough day. They will fill it out with kind words. They will then either put it in the student slicker or on the teacher's desk. A few of the teachers really liked this idea and complimented my students.

• Sensory Seating

  The notorious Tik Tok oversized chairs were such a hit with my class. They all want to sit in it. I had to come up with a system for my students to take turns on it. Thank you so much for your generous donation to allow us to get these chairs. They are great!

  The file holder for my desk is. A awesome too! It allows me to keep each periods works separate, while not taking up a lot of room! I think I may need to get another one!

• Miller's Motivators

  The middle school students eat lunch at 10:40 in the morning. So by the time the afternoon rolls around they are always starving and asking if I have any food. I know I work better on a full belly so thank for the Takis, Jolly Ranchers, Fruit Snacks and Peppermints you generously donated towards my class. They are so happy to have something to snack on in the afternoon. They have motivation to work now! They are highly motivated to complete their work to earn a snack or candy. Your generosity has me stocked up for awhile. I truly do appreciate it.”

• Food for Focus

  I wish you could have seen my students eyes light up when they opened up the boxes. They could not believe that someone was nice enough to donate and get us everything we put on the list. They were so excited and wanted to eat everything as soon as they opened it.

  One of my afternoon students told me that were happy because they would be able to have a snack in the afternoon because they get hungry then. I hope you know that your generous donations do really make a difference in these children's lives.”
