  • Sensory Space for Mental Health Support!

    Funded Sep 13, 2024

My students were eager to explore and engage in the classroom with the new materials from our project. They demonstrate a natural curiosity about the sensory lights and their changing colors. Our new couch provided a real-life connection in the classroom while bridging the gap between its purpose, feature, and function. My students displayed positive attitudes and willingness to try the new items making them a joy to have in the classroom.

We were so excited to display the addition of our new classroom borders. These vibrant borders will help create a more engaging and visually stimulating learning environment for our students.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Bunbury

  • Classroom Supplies and Learning Materials

    Funded Nov 30, 2021

We can't thank you enough. The items you have donated have helped me to organize our classroom centers and provide storage bins for the materials, manipulatives and, objects we use daily. In our writing center, my students now have magnetic writing boards, alphabet stamps ( for those who do not have pencil grasp), and put in task boxes to help develop my student's fine motor skills. Your donation has made such a difference during classroom instruction. The hopscotch puzzle mat has helped with the repetition of numbers, engaging students in learning and physical movement during math small group lessons. We thank you for supporting this project and contributing to a positive learning environment for my students.”

    With gratitude,

  • Creating a Postive Learning Environment

    Funded Nov 16, 2021

With hearts of gratitude, my students and I say thank you. This project provides my classroom with some necessary supplies to engage and interact with my students during instruction. The items on the list have helped me provide my students with the sensory inputs they require. Secondly, our classroom leisure centers are most of the preferred centers because of the hand on manipulative you contributed towards this project. Other items on the list to help with classroom organization and routines. The fine motor hand-on materials and phonics activities you have donated have made lessons/small group instruction fun and engaging for my tactile, kinesthetic and, visual learners. With your help, I can continue to build up our classroom and enhance our learning environment. Thank you, thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Bunbury

This project means a lot to me. The items on the list will help me build up our sensory, library, and leisure centers. Other items on the list ( such as binder storage center, teaching easel, and magnetic folder bins) are to help with classroom organization. These items will help me create a space that will be less distracting for my students. The large foam manipulatives and phonics activities will make lessons/small group instruction fun and engaging for my tactile, kinesthetic and, visual learners. With your help, I will be able to continue to build up our classroom and enhance our learning environment.
