I have many students who come from lower-income families and feel embarrassed when they don't have the necessary supplies to complete projects. This could be anything from lacking highlighters for focused note-taking, to not having art supplies for creative projects they finish at home. These supplies will help my students always feel like they have everything they need in class. As a first-year teacher, I want to make my classroom feel more welcoming and well-supplied. I want my classroom to be a place where students always feel comfortable, supported, and ready to learn. In addition, sanitary supplies will ensure proper sanitizing procedures between classes.
