Teamwork Makes The Dreamwork!

I'd like to thank Donors choose for granting us these wonderful sweaters for our basketball team! The children were super excited to receive them! I wish I could've recorded a video reaction on how excited they were! As we live in New York, with long winter seasons the sweaters were a huge help to families. We had some of our players wear their basketball team sweaters everyday! All thanks to your organization!

With the sweaters, the basketball team walked around the school and the community with confidence. They felt like they belonged to something important, in which they did. Everytime they wore their basketball team sweater, not only were they representing the team, but they were representing themselves in a good manner. As the students wore their sweaters throughout the school, even staff members were inquiring about how to get one! The basketball team quickly became trendsetters for our school.

The sweaters weren't just clothes for the players. It was an attachment, it was a sense of accomplishment of making the basketball team, it was a personal reward to them. Even though they've graduated, I still spot them in the community wearing their sweaters. It brings a smile to my face every time. Thank you Donor choose for this wonderful gesture!”
