All students learn through different approaches and small reading groups offer my students the ability to receive personalized instruction in which I can provide individualized support. This reading table will make learning more accessible for all students. I am the reading teacher and believe, I can reach more students by providing one on one support through small centered activities and reading groups. Small group instruction allows me to personalize instruction and the ability to work more closely with each student. Small group instruction provides me the opportunity to evaluate my students' learning strengths and locate gaps in the development of their reading. My students are more engaged when I can work with them side by side and provide valuable feedback and encouragement as necessary.
