Ready, Set, Go and Rotate!
Funded May 27, 2022The Honey Can Do Cart has been a life saver. The students retrieve their must do or their uncompleted work from this cart. This cart has the colored pencils and dry erase markers or whatever is needed for a specific project. Each student is independently learning how to be responsible by cleaning up and putting away their materials so others my access the cart with ease.
As for the ink cartridges, our room is full of print rich pictures and words. Students use these anchor charts field with photos to help write simple stories. It is amazing how independent they are when it comes to having choices. I no longer have to tell them what to write about. They just look around the room and write.
My next steps is to keep creating a space that allows for independence, clear of clutter and a world of vibrant print. So I will continue to order ink, acquire a couple of more carts and start thinking about flexible sitting.”

My Distinguished Kindergartners
Funded Dec 23, 2021Thank you so much for the differentiated materials through Teachers Pay Teachers. These worksheets have allowed my students to work at their own level. It has also given me peace of mind, in that, I don't have to recreate levels, once they mastered a level they just move to the next.
When we first got the worksheets I was concerned because our principal does not like worksheets, but then he saw how the students were progressing through each stage. These worksheets have proven to be priceless and the teachers that created them a pat on the back for making other educators' life so much simpler.
Our next goal with differentiation is to get hands-on materials that can go hand in hand with the worksheets. It is so important to meet students where they are, so they can learn at a pace that is just right for them. So, I thank you again for this wonderful donation that has been helping my students be the best version of themselves growing academically.”

Kinder Here, Kinder There, Kinder, Kinder Everywhere!
Funded Dec 15, 2021Thank you so much for the fabulous storage unit. This unit has allowed my students to be more accountable and less stressed about their materials. It has also given me peace of mind because they are getting the materials faster, not fighting over what is theirs, and keeping it neat.
When we first got the unit it was very confusing because they would say, "Where is my crayon box?" or "I can't find my cards". But then a friend would tell them to look in the storage cart and with a little teamwork and friendly guidance that confusion was short-lived. This unit has played such a big part in creating a safe and supportive learning environment.
Our next goal is to get more ink for our classroom printer. It was donated on our first project, but we have been using it so much the ink is going fast. So, we are going to request more ink so we can keep on creating and growing academically. Thank you again.”

The Wonderful World of Kinder
Funded Nov 13, 2021Thank you for the donations!
Your donations towards the new printer and continual ink restock have allowed each student to learn and grow, through valuable wall references, homework, and in-class activities. The most expensive purchase of this year was the printer and the ink. With these resources, I was able to print the alphabet wall, the math wall, and worksheets in color. This color aids with the students' ability to properly learn how to count and read at and above grade level requirements.
Due to the constant use of the Crayola markers and crayons, they are always lost and need to be constantly refurbished. Around the classroom, one can see the students' great work on the walls, created with these crayons. Another crucial tool that we are deeply appreciative of is the polka dot pocket chart, this chart helps students have a place to put their positive paws/ticket. This chart recognizes students for meeting behavior expectations around the school and not just the classroom, by having a place where they can put their positive paws/tickets, based on our school's PBIS (Positive Behavior and Intervention Support) system. Lastly, the Velcro-colored dots on the floor have given my students clear structure on where they need to sit in order to keep each other safe and provide distance in the classroom.
Overall, every single donation helps the students in my classroom continue to learn and allows them to become better every single day.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Dillon
