  • Calming Tools and Resources to Support SEL in Middle School

    Funded Aug 14, 2024

    The resources provided have made a huge impact on my students. So many of my students have loved the calming space that I was able to create with the these products. The different lighting options and sound machine have helped to create a warm, calming environment for students to feel at ease when attending their counseling sessions.

    Additionally, the various workbooks have offered a wide variety of options for my students' needs. This has greatly helped me with lesson planning in order to support my students' progress towards their IEP goals. As I work with my students to build on skills, it is amazing to have so many options for activities and lessons to turn to as tools to support their growth.”

  • Flexible Seating and Therapy Tools for School Psychologist

    My students absolutely LOVE the flexible seating options that this grant has provided for them. The choices to sit in a variety of chairs has really helped them to feel comfortable sharing with me and each other. I also have found that they are so much more engaged in conversations and activities. The therapeutic tools and games have also been big hits. It has been so much fun exploring the different tools and figuring out what my students gravitate towards. I am beyond grateful for your contribution and my students have loved exploring all of the materials.”

  • Therapy Games for School Psychologist

    What a difference therapy games can make for kids! Having a variety of therapy games to help engage students has helped build rapport and trust within the counseling setting for several of my students. I have a few students who have struggled to open up and feel comfortable with sharing their feelings, but these games have given them a tool to do so. My students have been excited to explore the different games we received through this project and are eager to engage in counseling with these tools. I am so excited to continue to utilize these games to explore new topics and continue to build that trusting relationship with my students. I am so grateful for your donation because it has helped several students feel comfortable with diving deeper into exploring their own emotions, developing coping strategies, and working through the problems they face to find actionable solutions.”
