After a year and a half of distance and virtual learning, my student's had limited access to therapeutic materials to improve their fine motor and visual motor skills. Providing different games, adapted materials and multisensory experiences that capture the attention and motivation of my students is crucial for their participation and engagement. Thus, improving their motor abilities and access. The materials requested can be used during therapy sessions as well as distributed to students to used daily in class. For example, pencils grips can provide positioning cues for students who have difficulty grasping a pencil correctly. Multisensory games can capture the attention of a student and address necessary skills through play based therapy. I want to see my students succeed and with the correct tools that opens the doors to new possibilities.
