Middle School Readers
Funded Jun 21, 2024Thank you so much for your generous donation to my project aimed at providing books for my students. My students have enjoyed the books as much as I have, diving into the diverse characters and settings of each novel. They have especially loved the novels we received through my DonorsChoose project. Having class sets allows them to connect more deeply with the stories, as they can take the books home to read.
Thank you again for providing these essential resources for my students! Your donation is making a great impact on the students in my classroom.”

Enhancing Reading
Funded Nov 6, 2023I appreciate your generosity and consideration which have directly improved my classroom. Your generosity will impact 118 students this year and will continue to impact students for years to come.
My students were excited to know that they received new books for our classroom library to help them become better, more independent readers. They were excited to know that they could use these books whenever they want to and are so thankful for the gift of books and reading!
I am also using the ink and other supplies in many other school related projects. I am able to print lessons, quizzes, and tests for my students. All of these items are much needed and valuable resources in my classroom.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Lorfing
Exploring the Past and Closing Gaps!
Funded Nov 10, 2021I would like to thank the all of the donors who contributed to adding laptop computers to my middle school classroom. With these devices, my middle school students have been able to progress on their on-line reading lessons, which will directly impact their scores at the end of the year. The laptops have also been a great asset to my history class as the students are able to view videos which complement our curriculum. Students are able to work independently, complete online lessons and really visualize ancient history, which brings the content to life for them. Thank you so much for your donation.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Lorfing
