I am a first-year special education teacher at a K-5 elementary school working mainly with 2nd graders. I am also attending graduate school. I have tried my best to make my classroom warm and welcoming for my students. However, there has been nothing I can do about the hard, plastic school-provided chairs. Most of my students have ADHD, so sitting still is not possible. I hope to give my students the seating options to tell them be as successful as possible! My students deserve a classroom that supports their learning needs!!
