This summer, I had a goal to provide my students with a book for each month of the school year. Unfortunately, I fell short of that goal and was only able to purchase a small amount for our classroom. I share daily my love for reading with my students. I want them to also see the beauty in reading. In times like this, reading can take students to so many places. The only issue is, most students do not have access to books at home. Getting books into my student's hands is important to me because I knew what it was like to not have access to books as a child.
