By partnering with a local farm, my class will have the opportunity to see chicks hatched in our classroom! This will not only be a science project to learn about the life cycle but will be incorporated into writing, reading, and math as we write about what we learn, count the days we watch our incubator, and read stories about being scientists, working animal farms, and of course chicks! Students will get first-hand experience asking questions to experts and observing the eggs become chicks and being able to write about their personal experience.

About my class
