These bikes encourage students to actively play and engage with their peers. They will be able to play cooperatively, request turns, and build self-esteem and confidence when riding bikes and playing with their peers. They will also encourage students to request turns and be able to problem-solve, using turn-taking independently with their peers and be able to use coping strategies learned in class to respond age-appropriately to conflict. These are all skills students have not been able to practice in a school setting due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 8.PK.4a Initiate conversation and respond to others. 8.PK.4c Ask and answer simple questions. H1.PK.1 Children begin to complete simple tasks together. C13.PK.1 Follow classroom and school rules. C13.PK.2 Participate in group decision-making.

About my class
