A Hammock Chair for Anywhere!

From the moment we received and installed the Swing Frame and Swing the students have been benefiting from your donation!
The students get needed movement, calming, reading, and communication improvement from the Hammock Chair in the classroom. It is easily portable in and out of the room for various use. The students take turns and love the swing. Seeing them relax and learn and smile is amazing thanks to you!

This classroom project was brought to life by The DonorsChoose Community and 10 other donors.

Students succeed in school when their sensory systems are working to the best of their ability. Some students with specific disabilities have a difficult time interpreting and using sensory information. The items we require for this project will help give students calming or alerting input. The tools will assist children to regulate their attention and arousal level in order to learn. Please support this project and help us get these key tools to students in our school that require additional assistance maintaining the just right level of alertness for learning.
