Since returning to the classroom this year, I have been trying to engage my students as much as possible. I believe that allowing their creativity to come out through art projects is a great start. Coloring and drawing isn't a normal activity in a high school Social Studies class but I want to give my students different outlets to show their understanding of the different concepts taught throughout the school year. From the Constitutional Convention and writing their own bills to understanding what makes them a great kid and future adult I want the needed materials at the ready and a place for them to be organized and easy to get to at the front of my classroom.
