These resources that I have requested for my friends have a purpose already. I anticipate being able to create more effective learning activities to ensure that all learners are engaged. Students will gain the ability to practice topics within standards in a hands-on "fun" way. Many of the requested resources are behavior management tools. In our classroom, I use positive reinforcement to promote good behavior. Students earn points and then have the option to spend those points on things of their choosing. Having items that are true motivators promotes ready-to-learn behaviors and creates a conducive learning environment. Without them many of my students would lack the motivation to persevere through their struggles. Furthermore, many of these resources will be used as tools to scaffold learning at home, during small groups, during interventions, etc. to help scaffold any gaps in learning. With the way that last school year was due to Covid-19, many of my students have entered second grade two to three levels behind. In order to get them to grade level they will require many different tools to get them to their goals. For example, the laminating sheets will be used to make resources for students to use at home and at school (array, ten frames, hundreds charts). The manipulatives for math will be used to offer hands on learning activities that many of my students need. Also, there are some art supplies in which we will use to create fun learning activities during whole and small groups. For example, Playdoh can be used to build letters, as counters, etc. to practice many different skills in math and ELA. Standards covered with materials: 2.OA.B, 2.OA.C , 2.NBT.A, 2.NBT.B, 2.MD.A, 2.MD.B, 2.MD.C,
