During our day of learning, students have the opportunity to have targeted independant learning that takes place on our classroom iPads. This targeted instruction really zones in on areas that each student may be struggling with. Every student is on a different path in their instruction. Due to the variety of levels students need to be able to have their materials available and focused on their work and not their neighbors. Growing independance during first grade is a crucial step for student success, throughout their elementary years. My students need these headphones to help them focus on their own learning path. This will eliminate the noise from their neighbors learning path. When students finish with their leaning time they can store their headphones on the side of their desk, so that they will be ready for their next independant learning time.
