  • Dramatic Play Every Day

    Funded May 9, 2024

    Thank you so much for helping our classroom grow! Our new piece of furniture looks beautiful in the dramatic play center. We are excited to have a high quality piece of furniture that will serve multiple purposes. For now, it is a puppet theatre. In the future, it could be a restaurant, a store front, a lemonade stand, and so much more. We are lucky to be in a community that is so giving and thoughtful. The children are enjoying this new item and our year is off to a great start. Without you, this would not be possible!”

  • Preschool Science Exploration

    Thank you for your support this year. My students very quickly fell in love with our new science toys. We now have three new view finders, motion tubs, mystery sensory tubes, specimen viewers, and a sturdy tape measurer. I am proud of our kiddos for taking care of our new toys with caution. For example, we have gone through 3 tape measurers in a year. They really missed having one and now that it's back, they are using it with caution. The joy on these kids faces when I put out new toys truly warms my heart.

  • Make Writing 'Stick'

    Thank you so much for giving my classroom a new piece of furniture for the writing center! The children got to use it at the tail end of last school year and really enjoyed it. They enjoyed using magnetic letters, numbers, and shapes in the writing center. I have rearranged my classroom this summer to make it even more efficient for this new magnetic stand. I am hoping my new students love it just as much as I do! Again, I am so thankful for your help. I came into this classroom a few years ago with no idea what the future would hold. It is finally all coming together the way I dreamed!”

  • Organization Amongst the Preschool Chaos

    Thank you for providing us with new baskets for our classroom. I love how all our baskets now match and we have more storage for all our toys. Without your help, none of this would be possible. I have been able to put more items out on the shelves and replace broken baskets that have seen better days. There are many things I would love to do with my classroom, but finding the time and money is so difficult. Fundraising through Donors Choose has made my life SO much easier! I am able to better focus on my students.”

  • Imagination Station!

    Our new piece of furniture has helped keep our classroom more organized! The students now know there is a designated area for our dress up clothes and we never find them in the wrong place. They also enjoy the built in mirror. Luckily, no one has tried to jump on the furniture and spin around (hoping it stays that way), which means it has been safe to use as well. I have so many visions for this classroom in the future and I am glad to have one more thing checked off my goal list. I could not have done it without you!”

  • Give My Students More Access To Table Toys

    My students were able to use these new resources throughout the rest of the school year. New bins made it easy to put more toys out because it's way more functional. They could not believe I had been "hiding" those toys in the closet for so long. I honestly had no where else to put them out at until now! What's next? I will keep continuing to update our classroom by replacing toys and getting new things that create a more functional, consistent environment. Thank you again for all your support this past school year. I am excited to see what next year holds.”

  • Miss Rosenbohm's Classroom Needs a Face Lift!

    We are so thankful for your donation to our classroom! I put out all of the new materials and the kids are so excited to explore new things. When they first saw the items, they started cheering. You would have thought there was a celebrity in the room with the way the PM class reacted to new toys. Excited is an understatement!

    Students are using these materials in various centers around the room, but I mainly wanted new items in our table toys. This center was not explored often, so I wanted to encourage them to utilize it more. I have since had to allow three kids to be there rather than two. They LOVE it! Students really enjoy the liquid sensory tubes I added to science as well as our new, clean, shiny magna tiles.

    Again, we cannot thank you enough for contributing to our room. What comes next? I have many ideas for future updates. I want to replace more items and create a space that truly feels like mine as well as the students'.”
