Our class is a first grade inclusion class in a Title 1 school. Most of the students are being raised in low social economic homes where books and other reading resources are a luxury most cannot afford. As first graders, they have a strong desire to grow as readers and explore the world through reading, yet most lack the support and resources needed to develop a strong reading vocabulary and build fluency as readers.

About my class
