The COVID-19 pandemic has definitely been hard for everyone especially children. They have had many changes happen to them throughout these last couple of years. Some of these young children who are in my preschool classroom do not know any different. This project will help not only the children with their literacy skills but the parents as well. The parents have had to do a lot during this time and make many changes and this has been hard on them to help their children learn what they need to learn while they are at home. One of the areas that I have seen that the children in my preschool classroom need more help with is literacy. I have talked to many Kindergarten teachers and we have also discussed the importance of literacy and getting children on track to learning. Overall this project would just accelerate the growth of the students and help them be successful in their learning throughout school and life.
