My twelve students with special needs could see their learning “go through the roof” if they could have a personal tablet at each of their fingertips. They would be using technology to participate in engaging activities to meet their individualized goals. The tablets would help sustain their attention during rigorous academic tasks, access grade level curriculum and empower them to learn and succeed. My 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students who are reading at approximately kindergarten and first grade levels can grow as readers with personal tablets because they will repeatedly have access to high quality educational apps and websites that will help me meet their varying needs. Improving their reading and math skills with these tablets will engage them in their learning, empower them to keep trying, and educate them to be the best they can be!
