The Nevada Academic content standard RL2.5 requires teachers to engage students to describe the overall structure of a story, including describing how the beginning introduces the story and the ending concludes the action. Having an area in the classroom to engage in literary conversations is needed. We currently do not have a carpet area to meet with students. When students are working independently on the computer everyone hears each others programs. The use of headphones is a must to ensure a quite learning environment for everyone during differentiated computer work.
