We are a rookie FIRST LEGO League Challenge team (The Wolverine Machine - #53324) and have enormous interest among our students. One of the downfalls is that our school technology (Chromebooks) is not equipped to handle the necessary app needed to power the coding of the robots. The iPad would allow the students to try different coding strategies at the table with their robots and stream the new code directly. Additionally, they can access FIRST LEGO League Challenge resources and videos from it. The additional robot set would allow students to build a more basic robot and code it (learning the basics in the guided tutorials) while other members can begin working on the more complicated Advanced Driving Base without sacrificing time. The students are so excited and engaged in this project - it would be great to give them the resources needed to fully succeed.
