I work with intermediate autism students. These kids lack computer skills especially with the increase of testing demands on that are placed on them being in a special education classroom. The computer is used to increase their social interactions and learn about working together and turn taking after over a year of sitting behind a computer for teletherapy. These materials will help my students increase their communication skills. These Nevada Academic Content Standards will be specifically targeted with these materials: speak audibly and express thoughts, feelings, and ideas clearly; and describe familiar people, places, things, and events and, with prompting and support, provide additional detail.
