Geometry is not always about numbers. Students are given an opportunity to become an artist and use geometry to show their understanding. With a compass and pencil, students can demonstrate how circle and pattern affect their life. In this project, The compass is used to calculate the distance and to generate a pattern. The compass is used to show students that it is not always sitting at a table where you do geometry, you can actually go out into the real world and see many geometric patterns. The tools that students use will allow them to see that a career is always about numbers, sometimes you have to use tools to find solutions to your problems.
