Thank you so much for your donations! My students are going to enjoy engaging in these education games for reading, writing and math. What a best way to teach students new skills thru games. This project will be one of the things students remember learning about in second grade. I can't wait to bring this project to my classroom for my students - thanks to all of you! Again, thank you!”
I cannot express how thankful I am for your generosity. Your generosity means everything to us and to the community we serve. My students are going to be so excited for their flex seating. They look forward in enjoying their time in our classroom. Thank you so much for your donation.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Salvatierra
This classroom project was brought to life by The Maxwell/Hanrahan Foundation and 5 other donors.
My students and I are appreciative of the materials that we receive with your support. The majority of my students are in track of becoming super star readers for first grade. The children found each of the games enjoyable and fun. Through the engagement of puzzles and other games children learned to recognize numerals 1-20, subitize small and large numbers and learn the numeral order of Numerals through hands on learning. Students found each center marvelous and a great addition to the classroom learning environment. Thank you for supporting the children of the South Bronx”

The phonics centers will be used to engage learners in learning their letter sounds, their first words, and their writing experiences in kinesthetic, visual, and oral experiences. Studies have shown that using multiple approaches when learning cements the students academic learning.
The math centers will engage all learners in multi-sensory approaches to enhance their number recognition and counting skills. These experiences will help all of my students engage with and use manipulatives to cement their numerical understanding of Kindergarten skills. I am the first step in their learning and I want to make sure that I develop the whole learner.
