  • Reading Motivation!

    Funded May 8, 2024

    Your donations have provided an opportunity for students to gain access to titles they have been interested in reading. They are really into different series and love starting at number one and working through completing the series.

    We have even done some read aloud together of some of the books. We especially enjoy the Who Would Win series. We love learning interesting facts about the different animals. It is also fun to let the students guess who they think will win before we begin reading.

    Providing books for our classroom has improved student engagement in individual reading. Seeing the new titles gets them excited to read new material.”

  • Snap Circuit Fun!

    Funded Nov 17, 2023

    My students were so excited to receive our Snap Circuits. They have been exploring each one and the different tasks that they can do with each. They have followed the directions provided for some of the projects and have created their own ideas as well.

    The Snap Circuits have helped motivate them to complete their assignments in a more timely fashion, providing them with more time to explore their engineering interests. They have improved habits of working as a team to complete a task together. This has been so beneficial.

  • Expanding the Class Library

    The books you helped purchased for my classroom were such a surprise to my students. At this point in the school year, it is hard to keep them motivated to continue reading. Providing new options for them has helped tremendously.

    My lower-level readers have found a love for the Elephant and Piggie collection. They have been able to boost their confidence by reading these books independently.

    My higher readers are loving all of the new chapter books! The Bad Guys Books are a class favorite.

  • Organize the Chaos!

    Our classroom is so much more organized with the materials that your donations provided for us. The students are able to find materials that they need without having to interrupt the learning of their classmates to ask for assistance. Having an organized classroom has cut down on wait time. We are able to use our time more effectively for instruction and learning.

The book bins will help by organizing the books by category or reading level. This will help the children in choosing books that are best suited for their interest or Reading level. Having books available that they can find easily that they are interested in will promote more reading and help them get excited about reading more.
