With these materials, I will be able to create a calm down area to help my students manage their behaviors/emotions. Transitioning back to school has been a difficult time so with the calm down area they will be able to come to a space where they can be vulnerable and comfortable. In the calm down area, they’ll feel safe recognizing and regulating their emotions in a healthy way. They will learn new strategies and techniques to manage those strong emotions by using the materials provided. Addressing mental health is a priority for us!

About my class
