Fun, Motivating, and Organized Spanish Class!
Funded Nov 6, 2023We were able to create lots different arts and crafts project through the materials we purchased because of you! We created little booklets for our Spanish book we read, "Cajas de Carton". Students were so invested because they had the materials they needed to be successful.
We also had the opportunity to really use our laminating machine to create a business of designing and selling bookmarks for our school. For fun, we also created FAT heads for our seniors to celebrate them.
Thank you again so much for the opportunity to have students be creative through your donations!”

Passion and Skill
Funded Oct 29, 2021As soon as I told my students of all the equipment we were approved for they were so excited! Literally jumping up and down, and telling me how much they missed all those things from elementary school, and how much they were looking forward to also having that now in middle school. I think the tether ball was the game the students looked forward to the most. They kept asking me Ms. Guzman when is it getting here? I will help you set it up. Ms. Guzman can I come during my lunch to play? All so very excited for this new equipment. These comments and questions made me feel like an amazing teacher, but I truly could have never made my students feel this anticipation without this Donors Choose program.
Once we received all the equipment, the students were thrilled. The tether balls were even a huge hit with my high school students. It brought back a lot of happy and competitive memories with students as well as other teachers. The stop watches have made the mile runs way more competitive and have kept the students more engaged. Being able to manage their own watch and see their time to either speed up or keep the pace has helped them so much. I want to thank you so much again for allowing my students to feel all these positive emotions as well as allow them to create memories with all this wonderful equipment.”
With gratitude,
Ms. A.Guzman
