My 11th and 12th-grade Functional Living Skills & Multiple Careers Magnet Center Students ( Special Education) are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions. They absolutely love hands-on, engage in projects and challenges that would allow them to think outside the box. They love to learn new things and grow both academically and personally. Truly, I love working with them.
Our school is in the heart of Pleasant Grove, which is mostly an undereducated and underdeveloped community. A lot of our students and families have difficulties getting the basic necessary supplies to survive.
Each of my students has their own ways of learning, which makes them so unique, Whatever they learn in the classroom, I make sure they are able to use it in the future.
The materials and supplies that I am requesting will be put to great use. Some of it is for their learning and other supplies are for everyday use. Ink and paper are for printing their activities and assignments, binders are for their work and the sharpener is for the pencils and colored pencils. The puzzles are to challenge them to put it together.
