  • Building Their Favorite Classroom

    Funded Aug 29, 2024

I am deeply grateful for your generous donation of supplies to my classroom. Your contributions, including the gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers, will allow me to access valuable resources that enhance our learning environment. With these materials, I can create engaging and effective lessons that cater to the diverse needs of my students, helping them reach their full potential.

Additionally, your donation of personal hygiene items and cleaning supplies is incredibly impactful. In our current educational climate, maintaining a clean and healthy classroom is essential for the well-being of my students. Your thoughtful gift not only promotes good hygiene but also fosters a safe space where everyone can focus on learning without worry. This attention to our health and safety truly makes a difference in our daily lives.

Finally, the school supplies you provided are invaluable. Having the necessary tools readily available empowers my students to fully participate in classroom activities and projects. Your kindness ensures that every child has what they need to succeed, and it reinforces the idea that they are supported and valued. Thank you once again for your generosity; your support is helping to create a brighter future for my students!”

  • A stocked classroom and fun banquet

    Funded Feb 18, 2024

Thank you SO much for helping to stock my classroom with all the essentials my students need. Our students come from many different backgrounds and face many socio-economic challenges and any help is so greatly appreciated. The personal hygiene items offer them an opportunity to be comfortable in school. Not only did you help stock my room with all of their basic needed items, but you also helped me with items to make their 8th grade banquet a little more special. The students were over joyed at the time and care provided to give them a magical last event in middle school before we sent them off to high school. The masquerade masks took it over the top. Thank you again for all you did to help.”

  • A Personal Hygiene Corner For My Students

    Funded Dec 6, 2023

Thank you again for helping me to create a comfortable and welcoming learning environment for the students at my school. I say the students of my school because as a teacher who's classroom is right next to the restrooms I have all different students, not just my own, shopping in to grab a personal care item as needed. It allows me the opportunity to speak to students and get to know them. I enjoy being able to help them feel most comfortable and confident at school. All of the personal care items are nicely set out on a table right when you walk into my class so they are easily accessible to any student who needs to stop in and get what they need and go. Thank you again.”

  • A Colorful Presentation

    Funded Oct 23, 2023

Thank you so much for helping us to recieve all the lovely items we desperately wanted for my classroom. I teach 8th grade so my students have a very loud voice in my class. When they tell me what would make their learning experiance better, I try my best to do make it happen for them. We have had a tough school year so far, with a lot of loss on our small island due to the wildfires. Every single person felt this loss, especially our kids. The supplies for our classroom and our new color printer has allowed my students to create colorful posters, greeting cards, and thank you letters for our community as well as colorful projects for class. Thank you again for helping to provide an outlet for their creativity.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Wendy Anderson

  • A Well Stocked Classroom

    Funded Mar 5, 2023

Many thanks from my students and myself for your generous donations. My students very much enjoyed the snacks provided, as many of them come to school on an empty stomach. Giving them a simple snack like a granola bar helps improve their mood, and their ability to pay better attention and engage in the lesson.

They were thrilled to receive new headphones and mouses to use for their online learning. We use many programs that use music and videos to teach. Headphones allows everyone to learn at their own pace and listen freely and clearly without disrupting others.

Again, thank you so much for helping to stock up my room with the basic supplies needed to create a fulfilling and comfortable learning environment.”

  • Projects Galore

    Funded Oct 30, 2022

Thank you so much for your kind and generous donations. My students were so grateful to have all the new art supplies to help with their projects in class. My students have been able to create much more detailed, colorful, and vibrant projects with the items we received. They were able to create newspapers from the 1800's, ads for products from the American industrial revolution, and anti-slavery propaganda. Again, thank you so much for giving us the supplies to fill our class with colorful projects.”

I try to provide a safe and comfortable space at school for my students, safe means many different things for my 8th graders. I provide all sorts of things for my students from school supplies, snacks, to personal hygiene products. For some of them a snack helps fill their empty tummies, a notebook to finish assignments, a pair of headphones so they can work during recess along side many others who do not have computer access at home. Part of providing a safe learning environment is offering my students a variety of items they need to make their day go better. From schools supplies they may have forgotten, or are not able to afford, personal hygiene items, snacks to carry them over to lunch, as well as valuable computer time during recesses and lunch as many do not have computers at home.
