The donations received has had a great impact on the students and is sure to continue to provide an impact. The students were able to use the items to safely perform many tasks in the shop setting.
The students reactions to the items received was one of gratitude. They showed that in their expressions and how they cared for the items while using them. They even made sure they put them away in a careful manner.
I can honestly say going forward, these items will continue to allow the students the opportunities to get hands on training and protect themselves with the safety ppe received.”

This classroom project was brought to life by The DonorsChoose Community and one other donor.

The requested supplies and materials, such as a jump starter kit, gloves, and digital multimeter, will help to provide my students the opportunity to train as well as learn while performing critical and vital hands-on tasks in the actual automotive shop environment. The requested items will also allow the students to perform those shop assignments in not only a safe but also a practical manner. Having the supplies available to them will reemphasize the importance of shop safety. The students will also be able to demonstrate shop and personal safety procedures learned by having the proper PPE available to them.
