  • Choosing to Believe!

    Funded Feb 8, 2024

I want to start by saying our class is so grateful for your donation to the "Choosing to Believe" project. By providing these useful resources my students have an opportunity to do various STEM projects using LEGOS. Honestly, some of my students never heard of LEGOS or played with them. This was huge to them, they were so excited! To see their faces light up with joy when I unboxed them was epic! The impact you've done to help my students has been beyond a blessing. These resources have provided me with various ways to show a visual and allow students to model themselves ways to create a structure that withstands different types of weather. Thanks again for helping make our project a success.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Knight

  • Your Best Is Enough

    Funded Nov 28, 2022

Thank you for finding it in your heart to help contribute to helping my students have flexibility within the classroom to have fun while learning. These resources have provided such a great impact on their learning in such a way that it has improved their attendance in school.

I can see a huge engagement also within the classroom. The flexible seating has given my classroom the ability to move freely and not be confined to their stiff seats, which maybe uncomfortable. I can see why students enjoy the ability to move around the room to learn. This gives them a choice which oftentimes isn't given to them in elementary school.

Thank you for seeing and believing in this project. This has been a blessing in disguise. Words can'r express our gratitude. Thanks again from our class.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Knight

  • Making Amazing Achievers!

    Funded Oct 27, 2021

I would like to say thank you on behalf of my second-grade class and myself. The kids were so thrilled to see the solar system in 3-D form. My students get a chance to see more than illustrations but a vivid image of what each planet in our solar system looks like and the distance it is from the sun. Also, the students haven't stopped talking about the new bench they've gotten to sit on each and every day they start their reading centers. This has definitely been one of the student's highlights of the day. In addition, students are able to play sight word bingo to help build their recognition of daily words we use regularly. This year has been more than a blessing to us and we are so thankful that you helped us in a tremendous way! Thanks again for helping make our class amazing achievers!”

    With gratitude,

This year has been a whirlwind of changes from the pandemic to kids being out sick and lack of resources to help get students prepared for the next steps in life. I am a black teacher who wants to share some amazing resources with the kids of our future. I want to spread how some extraordinary people from our past have contributed to helping make this world a better place and also helped invent some of the things we use today. I have created this list based on the needs of my students. Handwriting and jotting down their thoughts are a struggle for some of my students. These resources can help build their confidence in improving writing their letters correctly and building their writing skills by fixing sentences daily to be able to identify when they make an error when writing in their daily journals. Also, time and money will be another big life skill my students need in life, being able to model how to tell time and count will help students who are visual learners. I would also like to bring black history into my classroom, so students are aware of their history and how it has shaped our lives today. Our class would be so grateful for someone to take a chance at sponsoring this project for our future leaders of the world.
