Reading for Enjoyment!
Funded May 7, 2024What a wonderful gift of reading you have given to my students! Thank you for your generous donations to make this project possible. These books have added so much variety to my classroom library. My students have loved all of the options that fits their reading levels and interests.
My students were blown away by the amount of books in this project and were eager to help organize them in our library.
I am confident that these books will be well read for years to come. There is a lot of variety that allows for all students to jump in and find a text they will enjoy.”

Funded May 8, 2024Thank you for making this project happen for my students and classroom. We have decided to use the desert setting for our terrarium because of where we live in Wyoming (high desert). We will use this terrarium to better understand our weather and climate standards for science in 3rd grade.
My students were blown away by how big the terrarium is and how clear they can see inside. It is so well lit and allows for students to see the plants at all angles. They have also enjoyed watching the cactus and plants grow and change in their new environment.
As we progress through our year, we will continue to watch this new ecosystem of plants thrive and adapt to one another. This terrarium gives my students a chance to see life in a desert for specific types of cactus and succulents. It is truly amazing to be part of their learning in this way.”

Funded Jan 7, 2024My students have needed the mental break from the rigor of school, but have also needed the feeling of community and collaboration. With this project, you have given that to them. Thank you. They have been able to build and create without the pressures of what they may feel from their educational workload. It has been a joy to see their pride and feeling of accomplishment in working to build the legos from this project. Finally, they have been so grateful for the extra boost of snacks through their day that has allowed them to stay on task and focused for longer periods. A child who is not hungry is a better learner and this donation has helped greatly. Thank you so much for supporting public education and my wonderful students!!”

In Class Maker's Space
Funded Nov 8, 2023This project has changed the output and quality of work in from my students. Truly. My students love to work in this space, individually and together. Sometimes, they work on tasks that are assigned to them at this space and sometimes they are free to play and create at this space. They have enjoyed understanding what a makerspace is, how it works and what you can do there. The materials that I received with this project have also been so valuable for their learning. I have been amazed to watch their curiosity and exploration soar. In this space, they are free to be children and have fun. There are no limits to what they can create. I think my favorite part of this project has been the pride that they have for the things they make. I am so grateful to give them this opportunity in classroom, thanks to you.
When my students first saw the space, they were so anxious to explore and check it all out. We have since covered it in twinkle lights and holiday paper to make it a festive place to work. This space will continue to be a place of creativity, examination and self-fulfillment.”

Funded Aug 17, 2022Thank you for your generous donation to my project. My students benefit from your kindness everyday. We use the table for small groups in math, reading and writing, independent work and for many other activities and tasks throughout our day. The table itself is very durable, but also is a perfect shape and color for our classroom. I love that there is a nook for me (the teacher) to sit and that my students can sit around so that they feel included and heard. I placed whiteboard dots, in bright colors, on the table and my students love that they are able to write on them while we work through a lesson. I am very grateful to you and know that this table will be used for many years. Thank you again! Happy New Year! Take care.”

Funded Dec 1, 2021What a wonderful gift you have given my students and my classroom. Thank you for the flexible seating and tables. My students use them everyday for independent reading and work. This flexible seating is so sought after that I had to make a chart that tells what students gets to use them on what days. :) My students have been more focused while using the chairs, as they are able to move them around my room and work independently. When they first saw the flexible seating, they weren't sure what to think. They had never seen anything like them and were confused that there could be seating on the floor with the coordinating tables. Once they understood how they worked, they were all in! I am so grateful for your generous donation to my students and their educational success. I hope you realize the impact you have made on their learning and independent growth as third graders. Thank you!!”
