After the COVID-19 pandemic, I noticed my students needed more social-emotional learning stations in order to excel in school. I requesting a puppet stage with microphones in order for students to gain additional listening and speaking skills and also help them to actively engage in group activities. (RL.K.10. Actively engage in group reading activities with purpose and understanding.H.K.1 Discuss the importance of working together to complete tasks.) I requesting a laminator, laminator sheets, and Velcro dots to make reading/math center activities. I requesting binder coils, a stapler, and paper to help my students journal and create their own books to remember their positive experiences for years to come. (WK 3 Use a combination of drawing, dictating, and writing to narrate a single event or several loosely linked events, tell about the events in the order in which they occurred, and provide a reaction to what happened.) In order to build a positive classroom learning environment, I would like to provide my students with a treasure box loaded with fun activities and items that they can take home. With your support and generosity, I know that my students will have the best products in order to excel after the COVID Pandemic.
