  • Social-Emotional Skills for All

    Thank you for providing my students with the materials they needed. There are so many students being impacted with difficulties at school or home, and these kiddos don't have the words to express their feelings. By providing my speech and language classroom with the social and emotional curriculum and, students are working on using words and kindness to get their social and emotional needs met.

    By providing snacks, timers, and bean bags, students have a safe place to calm down and talk about their successes and struggles. My students and I greatly appreciate your support.”

  • Speech With a Touch of Technology

    Thank you so much for your donations towards my new laptop. In the school, educators are lost without a functioning computer. I travel between 3 schools, so having an up-to-date laptop is everything to me. I use my computer to access student information, write reports, communicate with parents, create lesson plans, and to teach my students.

    In the current world, students love using technology to learn. Some of their favorite speech materials are accessed via game play on my touch-screen laptop. I can play a game of bowling or memory with 4 or more students by just clicking my mouse. Students ages 3 and up love it.

    As an educator, planning lessons takes a very long time. Having my touch-screen laptop provides me with hours of materials that is appropriate for students of all ages. I can show videos on how to make the correct /r/ sound. We can see word lists, color pictures, read stories, and play games. Thank you so much for providing me with this invaluable tool.”
