Funded May 1, 2024Thank you for your generous donation! On behalf of the 5th grade team, we truly appreciate your support. Our students loved decorating their stoles and adding their personal touches. Many incorporated elements of their culture into their stoles, while others had their friends sign them as a keepsake. They really shone as they showcased the amazing creations they made! These stoles will serve as cherished memories from their 5th grade promotion.
Your kindness has made a lasting impact, and we are grateful for your involvement in our students' journey.”

New Year, New Supplies
Funded Apr 12, 2024Thank you so much for the new year supplies! Classroom supplies are like candy—they disappear quickly! Pencils and erasers are essential tools that students use every day to succeed. Having these materials readily available helps my students stay organized and engaged in their work. Thanks to your generosity, each of my students received a set of fresh school supplies. Every student got new folders for each subject and a pencil pouch to keep their writing and coloring tools organized.
I can't thank you enough for your generosity! Your support is crucial, and without it, my class wouldn't be the same.”

Embracing Our Differences
Funded Oct 19, 2023Thank you for your generous donation of books about diversity for my classroom. Since receiving the books, my students have eagerly immersed themselves in the stories of many immigrant families, gaining valuable insights into different cultures and perspectives. These stories have not only broadened their understanding of the world but have also empowered them to embrace diversity and celebrate our differences. Your donation has sparked important conversations in our classroom about acceptance, empathy, and the power of unity. My students have learned that our differences are truly amazing and that we can use them to make a positive change in the world.”

Wiggles Out
Funded Aug 2, 2023Your support has made a significant impact on the learning environment and the overall well-being of my students. The Wiggles Out project, which you so kindly supported, has truly made a difference in the way my students engage with the learning process. The bean bags has been a tremendous success, especially during silent reading sessions. The yoga balls allowed them not only to sit and bounce but to practice yoga during brain breaks. These versatile tools have not only provided a dynamic seating option, allowing students to wiggle and bounce while remaining focused.”

Funded Dec 29, 2021As a first year teacher, it can be extremly difficult to budget and not overspend for your incoming students. I love preparing the simple things that can help students be successful in the classroom. For example, I love providing fresh boxes of crayons, new pencils and laminate their name tags and other important documents they might need during the year. Being able to have my own laminator in the classroom is a huge life saver! I am able to laminate anything I need and want without leaving the classroom.
My students have really enjoyed the coloring books we've received. Each Friday our classroom gets to end the week with fun friday. I give them a couple of choices such as coloring (art), puzzles, computer time and playdough. Currently, our favorite station is ART! My students have been using the coloring books and brand new crayons to express their creativity. Who doesn't love a fresh new box of crayons? Thanks to donors choose, I was able to provide all my students with brand new crayons.”
