These materials will allow my Kindergarten students to work in small groups and have hands on learning materials to use. We have reading and math small groups and each group gets a “fun basket” of learning materials during station rotation for each subject. These materials will allow for a variety of hands on learning for all students. Puzzles, games, different types of writing materials, math manipulative and flash cards are some of the things that will make learning more fun for my students. Right now there is not a lot of materials for the students to use and hardly any materials that are not broken or missing pieces. This classroom of students has been without a teacher. They have been sitting at a desk doing work sheets and workbooks since the start of the school year with the Substitute Teachers. Now they have me as their new Teacher and I would love to catch them up on all of the learning and fun that they have missed out on. I want to make learning fun and exciting. I can not wait to see the smiles that they will wear each day when they get to go to different learning stations. Help me give my students sight words flash cards, LCD writing tablets, washable markers, ten frames math counters, and more.
