The circuit playground for my Computer Science class connects to the Nevada Academic Content Standards for Computer Science. The standards: 6-8.CS.HS.1 and 6-8.CS.T.1 are important for students to understand and learn how to use code to control a external device. The wobble chairs are important for students who need to move while they think and process difficult math and computer science tasks. The learning during COVID changed how students access learning experiences. Sitting in a standard desk doesn't work for all students. These chairs give students the ability to keep their body busy so they can focus on the task at hand. The 3-D shapes connect to the Math Standard, 6.G.A. It is important as students are learning about the nets of 3D figures that they have a tangible examples to help them visualize the nets and aid in finding the surface area of 3D shapes.
