Having an exciting classroom bookshelf is one of the main keys to getting a child to want to read on their own for enjoyment! We ask kids to put down the devices and lose themselves in a good book, so as teachers we have to keep it exciting. Choosing a brand new book off of the shelf helps raise a student's interest level. Kids love to use their imagination. Having different levels and genres of books will help all of my students improve their reading and enrich their lives for the better.
