  • A Great First Year for Firsties!

    The materials we received have helped us organize our classroom and make everything run more smoothly! Our tables do not have storage cubbies so we use our chair pockets to hold our learning materials. The metal file holders are used as mailboxes so we know exactly what goes home every night. Now we we have coatracks to hold our backpacks, too.

    The earphones are great for students to borrow during online learning time, for kids who don't have or forgot their own. The electric stapler is so easy to use, too!

    We all have more time for learning now because we don't need to worry about our stuff—-it all has a place!”

First Grade, Speaking and Listening: SL.1.1 Participate in collaborative conversations with diverse partners about grade 1 topics and texts with peers and adults in small and larger groups. They are not able to move about the room and share materials as they have in the past, so finding new ways to store materials is essential. These resources will allow me to organize my room to maximize interaction among the students while adhering to COVID protocols. My students need to interact in the classroom in various groupings (large groups, small groups, partners) in a safe and manner.

About my class
