Open Up Their World

Thank you for your generous donation to my classroom's library. With your funding we were able to purchase a large variety of books from author's that students love and requested books from, as well as non-fiction books on topics that students have interests in. We were also able to expand our library to include books that represent many ethnic authors that are representative of our current class background as well as other cultural backgrounds that we are deficient in.

The students were so excited when we opened the boxes that we received from this funded project. The sparkles in their eyes and the sounds of their excited squeals was heart warming and a wonderful gift for me to see and hear. This would not have been possible without this generous donation.

I am thankful to be able to order so many book titles that the students requested as well as 3 comfy reading pillows to make their reading experience an enjoyable one. I hope that they develop a love for reading, not specifically for academics, but to be able to read to help broaden and enlighten their world, to take them to places they have never been, and to expand their imagination and their life possibilities.”
