Motivation Builds Education
Funded Jan 23, 2023Students were very excited when they found out we had received amazon gift cards to use as incentives for doing our best on school assignments. Students that strive to do their best, complete all assignments, participate in class learning and help others receive these gift cards as rewards for their hard work and dedication to learning. Students use the gift cards for a variety of school items, such as, books, themed school supplies, art supplies, etc.
Students that have received the gift cards have shared the supplies they bought with their classmates.
We are very grateful for and appreciate the gift cards.”

Funded Apr 6, 2022Students were super exited when they saw the amazon gift cards. Seeing these cards motivated students to complete their work and persevere.
Working with special education students is a struggle since many of them are 2 or more grade levels below where they should be and this fact discourages students from doing their work. But with these gift cards I saw a huge difference in the motivation my students displayed. Students that don't normally participate, were more engaged in class discussions and activities. Most, if not all students tried to complete their work.
I will continue to use gift cards and prizes to motivate students to do their best.
