My students are working on a range of reading and writing concepts from comprehension of passages and structuring their sentences to mastering legible penmanship. This project will help students reach their personal goals with more fun and engaging tools and a table to take small groups out of the general classroom allowing us to reinforce basic skills. Innovative hands-on resources will make small group time more effective and the games will be incentives for hard work and brain breaks. These items with help my students meet these state standards CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.CCRA.L.1 Demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English grammar and usage when writing or speaking. and CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.CCRA.L.2 Demonstrate command of the conventions of standard English capitalization, punctuation, and spelling when writing.
