I am requesting a monitor, Apple AirPods Pro, and strip lights. Giving students opportunities to have an advanced monitor for presentations that will be given in the class. Likewise, it will allow for me as the teacher to better teach and create content in order for students at home in quarantine to get great instruction. Crime and Justice 1.0-12.0 Furthermore, having a welcoming environment where the students feel safe and a mood for the classroom to make the students want to come to class. Studies show that lighting can be the main mood setter in any environment and I want to be able to replicate positive moods and environments in my classroom; making students desire to come to my class. One of our learning outcomes is being able to use technology (12.0)and also understanding different types of crimes(7.0). What I have found to be the most beneficial for this is allowing students to become the teacher and create a lesson on their own about specific crimes. This requires students to be able to use and operate my main computer in order to provide instruction to their peers. Having students who need a larger screen will help with providing equal opportunity and equity to my students. Furthermore, with the chaos of the pandemic, I do my best to provide video recordings of our lessons so the students have access while stuck at home. In order for me to provide the best audio clarity in order for clear directions and instruction to be given. (Also allows for closed captioning for my audio impaired and ELL students). And AirPods all for me to move about the class and maintain the same clarity and quality of instruction for students in quarantine.
