• Hurricane Ida Can't Stop Our School Spirit!

  I am so proud of the RKS cheer squad! Even in the face of adversity, the girls continued to show leadership, courage, and strength. They were so eager to get back into our cheer routine after our parish faced devastation after Hurricane Ida. With your donations, I was allowed to provide the squad with the basic necessities, as well as extras needed to support the girls through an unprecedented cheer season. The girls were so grateful for the snacks and materials. It contributed to a sense of normalcy during a tough time. Thank you so much!”

  These supplies were helpful in terms of organization and management. Students especially loved the push LED lights. It promoted self management and accountability.

• Restoring After Ida

  Funded Oct 25, 2021

  Thank you for the generous donations. During this time, many of my students were experiencing instability and loss. With your thoughtful contributions, I was able to bring the light back into my classroom. Many of the materials such as the dry erase boards, buzzards, markers, glue, and dart board are used frequently to add engagement to classroom lessons. Engagement has been proven to enhance the learning process, and most importantly, its fun for all!

  The other supplies were basic classroom necessities for students. My students also love the decorative supplies (posters/wall art). Not only are they aesthetically pleasing to look at, they serve as important learning tools. All of these things have made a big difference in the overall climate and culture that I have crated in my classroom.”
