I try to make my therapy fun and exciting, yet when social distancing takes precedence, it can be more difficult to administer close-up therapy services. "Speech Buddies are tools to help facilitate proper tongue movement and placement. They fix speech problems and they do it quickly. In fact, Speech Buddies are so effective that they were presented at the 2012 American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s conference, showing that kids learn 2 to 4 times faster." (SpeechBuddy.com, 2021) These tools will help me provide hands-on therapy and provide families of these children with results faster than I could without them.
